hm. this is first perspective video i outright disagree with. yeah the legacy's chest was annoying at first, but after a bit of messing around and customizing its tabs in just fine, and I love the other two modes a ton, and the process' to get there. yeah the knees are a smidge disappointing but if you go in with an x-acto knife and cuf off some plastic it gets a nice 90. I love him so much and I will absolutely die on this hill

As a triple changer in general, i have always prefer sandstorm over Springer. The legacy one is good, i like the robot mode, the helicopter looks clean, and the car mode despite look like being cut in half is "decent". But i just love how robust the generation one is, looks like something out of mad max. If i have one maybe i'll custom the feet with a balljoint (im a sucker for feet articulation)

I was so happy I got a complete Generations Sandstorm for $25CAD a few days ago on eBay. Better then paying $77CAD for the new on Amazon.

Have the T30, love it. Saw the Legacy one and thought of getting it but G1 accuracy or otherwise it doesn't appeal to me.

I like this design except for one little thing, the head, its way to round and clashes with the rest of it, maybe they were scared people wouldn't reconize its blulked, but maybe they could add some more rounded parts or make the head more square, other than that its pretty good, overall 6 or 7 out of ten

The issue with this toy is that it’s a toon body, with a toy head and paint. They’ve told us the “Chad face”-Hasbro designers 2024 is on the sprue, so yes we will be seeing a better repaint of this into season 3 sandstorm.

Well, one thing for sure, this Legacy Sandstorm is the best G1 CHUG Transformer to date. I disagree with you on the dune buggy mode. It's a good looking mold that is a mix mash of the G1 show and toy. In fact, all 3 modes are solid. What I do agree with you is the chest not tabbing as it should, but at least it stays put. And also, how tight the legs and chopper blades are. While the blades only requires some effort but enough to scare me at times, the legs' slider took me a long time to be able to click it all the way and all the way out. It took me several transformations for those sliders to finally start clicking 😅. But all in all, the 3 modes are good aesthetically and the transformation itself, while simple, is still satisfying enough to handle even amidst a few criticisms.

So in most of the fights rampage seams to lose in beast wars, he’s actually just pretending to have lost because he doesn’t care

Ravage Weaponry 5 maybe 6: big guns, invisiblity, and I think he might have laser eyes Skill 7: one of the best shots, able to shoot all the weapons out of the maximals hands without even trying; not to mention his expirence in the war; flying his ship also has to count for something to Strength 3: not really show that well, but I’m assuming he’s pretty weak Tactics: he’s a spy, can set up a hostage negotiation, knows the value of having a man on the inside, and can easily sneak in and out of somewhere Do you think these stats are accurate

Must be bad QC on the chest, granted I may have just gotten lucky and my box wasn’t beat up at all from Amazon, but his chest mostly stays up on me, even when I push his arms down, granted I’ve also been messing with him for multiple weeks in a row

crazy that we never saw an upgrade set for the generations springstorm mold that gave it ankle tilts. its literally the 1 bad thing on that otherwise excellent figure, and 3rdP guys love making sets for everything.

actually, sandstorms head isnt accurate to the toy, not fully at least. its actually just the show head with the toy mouthplate slapped on top of it. the actual toy head meanwhile was MUCH cooler

Endy, Endy, Endy. You're ignoring a more important question. When will Legacy Sandstorm be retooled/repainted into Blackout? Why else would he have a little cage if not to for the designers anticipating a future reuse and that he'd need a mini Scorponok? Hmmmmmmmmmm?

Legacy Sandstorms Copter Mode fits nicely on TR Broadside's Aircraft Carrier and that's the best I could have hoped for.

I really think the chest on the legacy version is an on purpose defect. Which they'll probably fix on a later variant with a cartoon face. You also transformed yours wrong a few times. And the winch can go under the roll cage behind the engine block. But I agree about the buggy mode. It does take some getting used to. If ever.

My Sandstorms waist isn't hindered at all

I literally just put glue on the peg in the chest to make it hold tighter. And it did, for a while. Now it’s loose again

Ehhh idk I never liked the look of the Generations It poses weird, the vehicle modes are not anywhere to my liking His colors aren’t my favorite And his head sculpt looks like trash The new one looks better even though it’s just another brick design to me Idk why I think Legacy looks better at everything than the generations

Everyone is dogpiling Legacy Blitzwing, but honestly I’d give it more credit than this piece of garbage. -Blitzwing has 2/3rds of one alt-mode on his back, Sandstorm has 95% of the helicopter and 10% of the buggy. -Sandstorm has no fun transformations, but one really good alt-mode, Blitzwing has two pretty fun conversions and two alt-modes that each have one glaring flaw. -Blitzwing G1 accurate, so is Sandstorm if you count the toy head as accurate. -Both are about $10 more expensive than they should be, and both are trying to create versions of the (in my opinion) two most difficult Triple-Changers in G1.
